After my last video comparison, a lot of people wanted to see how the EVO 2 looked compared to the first generation EVO 1. I was able to shoot at a couple locations and put them side by side to compare. I tried a bunch of different frame rates, sizes, scaled down and zoomed in for comparison.

I was able to test out the new Insta360 One-R Aerial Edition rig for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. This rig allows you to fly and capture 360 footage, while eliminating the drone in the post production with Insta360's software Insta360 Studio. In this video, I show you what comes in the kit, how to install it, show you how GPS/ATTI works and do a quick test flight. Because the current desktop aerial edition app is still in beta, I hope to show more edited aerial footage soon once the camera firmware and software is updated. Autel Evo 2 Intelligent Flight Modes

Like most current drones on the market, the Autel Evo 2 has a few Intelligent Flight Modes. Some of these modes include Dynamic Track, Tripod, Parallel, Viewpoint, Orbit, Dual Stability and more. I'm currently on a beta app and early production unit of the Evo 2, so I expect lots of updates to the app and modes once released. One thing I was upset to see missing are basic ones like Dronie, Rocket, Waypoints and more custom controls when in Intelligent mode. I'll keep you informed on the updates and changes as they come. NOTE: Waypoints was added back to the Autel Explorer App after recording this video. The same Waypoint options as the EVO 1.

I've been waiting to do a video comparison with the EVO II because I wanted to make it a more true side-by-side video by putting it up against the most comparable drone, the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom. Thanks to https://www.dronesmadeeasy.com for loaning me the Mavic 2 Zoom for this this video. In this video, I show your how the video looks straight out of camera all shot in auto mode. I compare the Autel Evo II against the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom. I downsized the 8k EVO II footage to 4K and also show you how the 8k footage looks when at 100% in a 4k frame.
